This
Page Contains Your Downloading Information!
Please
read this page in it's entirety so that you can download
your ebook.
NOTE: Temporarily
bookmark this page to your favorites in case you loose it during
downloading or if you need to download any of the utilities named below
prior to downloading the ebook and are asked to restart your computer!
You
MUST have the most current version of Adobe Acrobat (which would be
5.0 or higher) in order
to read the book. This means that if you currently have version
3 or lower, you will have problems with this book.
If you do NOT have the newer version on
your system, it's FREE to download. Just go to:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html
and follow the instructions they provide. The site will pop up
in another window, so there is no need to close this one out.
Once you've completed the download and installation, come back here
to download the ebook.
Once you've installed Adobe Acrobat onto
your computer, proceed to the instructions below:
To download onto your
hard drive:
Right-click on the link below (the
publication title). Right-clicking simply means that you click the mouse
button that is furthest to your right (the one you hardly ever click).
Dying
To Get Well
- A drop-down menu of options should appear
once you right-click. Of those options, choose "Save Target
As" (see
image below) If
you have a Mac system, it may say "Save Link As".

- Select where you want to save it to your
hard drive, NOT to a floppy disk or CD (Saving to your Desktop
is HIGHLY recommended so you can easily locate the file right on your
computer main screen!) and click "Save".
- After the downloading is complete, go
to your desktop screen and locate the icon and double click on it. It
should look something like this:

Once you've double clicked it, the downloading process should begin.
Once complete, Adobe Acrobat Reader should automatically open up with
the document as well. Thats it!

Trouble
Shooting Tips
Sometimes downloading
problems arise. Here is a list of common issues an possible solutions.
PROBLEM: When
I downloaded, after attempting to open it I received a message that
said, "File Corrupt" or "Cannot Encrypt" (or some
other error message). What now?
SOLUTION:
Problems with downloading are sometimes due to computer speed; temporary
problems with web servers; or some kind of interruption of the downloading
process (most common with dial-up services).
If you downloaded
and then received a message once you tried to open the file that stated
"the file is corrupt" or something similar, most times you
can remedy these issues by simply deleting the file from your system
and RE-downloading again.
PROBLEM: Downloading
went great! However, I notice some of the letters or pictures are missing.
SOLUTION:
Sometimes customers notice there is a problem of letters missing within
the document (most commonly, the letter "c"). This occurs
usually when you don't have the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat
installed on your computer. Deleting your current copy and downloading
the most current version usually rectifies the problem. If you have
noticed this, here is the link to download Adobe Reader (FREE) for your
convinience: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html
Please also keep
in mind that anytime you download Adobe Acrobat onto your computer you
MUST restart your computer first before any changes are to take place!
In other words, if you have version 4.0 and you upgrade to 5.1, then
if you don't restart, you will still have 4.0 being utilized.
